Biorama™ preparation. Surveying the organisms in an aquatic ecosystem is essential in determining the health of that system. Students–hands on–using this mount can identify organisms in preparation for a water-related trip or for classroom study alone. Our set of 14 fully labeled specimens shows students what to look for, then what the findings reveal about the health of water.

Essential indicators of the clean water EPT Index - Ephemeroptera (mayflies), Plecoptera (stoneflies), and Trichoptera (caddisflies) - are featured along with 7 more invertebrates found in most healthy water systems, plus an additional 4 often found in even stagnant waters. Housed in a 12 × 8" display case.
