Crime Scene 1: Forensic Investigation Kit
Your students will enjoy using deductive reasoning and scientific methodology to solve a realistic crime! By examining samples of hair, blood (simulated blood is provided), fibers, fingerprints, and handwriting, the "sleuths" eliminate innocent suspects and prove the guilt of the true criminal.
Kit contains samples of hair, simulated blood, and fibers from 5 suspects plus samples "found" at the crime scene. Enough material is provided for at least 2 classes of 24 students each, working in pairs, to participate in the investigation.
An accompanying booklet includes teacher's notes, handwriting samples, rap sheets of suspects, and description of the crime scene (booklet can be copied as often as desired). Examination of hair and fibers requires use of low - power microscope (not included).
